December 2008
I am:
Obsessed with time... the larger my watch, the more easily I can believe that I have more time...
Regretful about the number of cookies I ingested tonite. I think I ate more sugar in one evening than I have in the last 6 months combined.
Hyper!
Worried about my teeth. I keep chipping them...and I'm having a dentist crisis.
--whoa -- i keep dreaming about my teeth chipping and falling apart -- then the front bottom teeth start falling out -- two nights in a row and at least 5 in the last couple of months... freaks me out.
thank you internet
You have been so here for me when I have been sick these last few days. Thanks to the rest and relaxation of being in front of the screen - I do not have pneumonia. Which I would have gotten to if I continued my oddly frantic pace. Therefore, internet, I owe you a major thank you.
Sleep well and I will see you in the New Year…
Love,
me

If you’re in your mid-thirties, hassled by the dramas of juggling work and family, doubting decisions you’ve made professionally and personally, panicked by the ageing process and dismayed that your years of snogging in nightclubs are behind you, then you’re probably in the grip of an early midlife crisis – otherwise known as a thrisis.

A word as simple as “goodbye” or a a touch that lasts only for a moment. A face you love one day and loathe the next. A stranger you barely know, making a home in your sheets. Bottles piled into corners and empty baggies filling your dustbin. The names that once meant so much, that you can now no longer recall. Mirror reflections and truth buried...

havent-got-a-prayer:
I think it is a person’s imperfections that make them so attractive. I would never want to spend my time around people who acted flawless, because I would know that it was only that; an act. Give me the people with some scars. Give me the ones with baggage and skeletons and secrets. Give me those who aren’t ashamed to admit that they are human. A person...

mildlyannoyedrabbit:
When I first started blogging a few years ago I did it to remember things that I knew I would forget soon after reading them. I imagined that there would come a day in the distant future when I would look back on my blog as a electronic memory; a warehouse of all the ephemera that meant something to me at various points in time.
This approach has had its own pitfalls...

It was just a week before Christmas when two starving horses were discovered in the rugged mountains of the B.C. Interior – hip bones protruding, backs blanketed in ice, weakened bodies teetering between life and death….
